In my dreams! The photo of the Aston at Spa in ’49 [Fast Exposure, April 2013]! That’s the way racing should be! It’s reminiscent of the photo of somebody being handed a Coke at Bivio Polizzi on the Targa Florio circuit—could it have been Phil Hill? Think what marketers could do with a pic like that today. And let me add a teensy bit of correction to Mike Lawrence’s column: Reich’s “energy” was called “orgone,” not “organe.” He said also that if you put several tubes together, maybe 15 feet long or so, and grounded them down a well, and if you aimed them at clouds, the focused energy would poke a hole in them. This disruption would also draw flying saucers, since they use the energy field that the tubes were distorting. I always meant to put such a device on the roof of the HQ building at Hallett, but never got around to it. Maybe one of these days. We’ll see.
