Dear Editor,
I would not dare to take my Avanti replica of the 1958 Lister-Chevy to the track, but if I owned an original, I certainly would agree with the opinions expressed in First Turn [VR, First Turn, July, 2011]. I do not believe that General Racing Ltd., nor its successor at Laguna Seca, SCRAMP, nor Road America use such plans. This is why they receive the support of the best car owners/drivers and why fans like me go there. Do any other Historic racing groups?
