About 30 miles north of London, on the edge of the village of Kimpton in Hertfordshire, is a haven for Maseratis and their owners, McGrath Maserati. The business has grown from minuscule seeds and now enjoys clients worldwide with recent restorations being commissioned from the USA and Australia. One of the former jobs was completed only recently, but with an embargo on the details you will have to go to Pebble Beach in August to see the result.
Sadly, Bill McGrath is no longer with us, so the eponymous business has been taken on by long-term Maserati devotee and employee Andy Heywood, and since the importance of the concern has increased substantially in the world of Maserati, now seemed as good a time as any to get his insights into the current state of play, where late-model Maseratis are concerned.
