Mecum Auctions is gearing up for its return to the Kansas City Convention Center this March 16-17, preparing to mark its 25th year of collector-car auctions in Kansas City, Missouri.
Heading the consignments is a 1968 Shelby GT350 Convertible, Shelby No. 02778, that remains in highly original condition, and is one of just 15 Shelby GT350s produced in 1968 with its specific paint and trim codes.
Other featured offerings slated to cross the block in Kansas City include a restored 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible with a 24-stud 239 cubic-inch flathead V8 engine, a 1970 Pontiac Trans Am with a 400/366 HP V8 engine and 4-speed transmission, and a mostly original 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible (above, photo courtesy of Mecum Auctions) with a 289 cubic-inch V8 engine.
