Muscular Mustangs top the list of desirable machinery coming up for sale at next weekend’s inaugural Barrett-Jackson Northeast Auction at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. Leading the way is a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a matching-numbers, two-owner car that comes with the factory Build Sheet, manuals, brochures, warranty card and owner data plate. Also of note are an original, matching-numbers 1968 Shelby GT500 KR finished in Highland Green, a 1970 Boss 302 Fastback and a matching-numbers 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 CJ Fastback (above), a rare R-code car from the Wright Collection.
“Original Ford Mustangs and Shelbys of the 1960s and early ’70s are the epitome of desirable, classic American muscle,” said Barrett-Jackson chairman and CEO Craig Jackson of the selection. “Our bidders seek them out and, in fact, a Boss 429 was our top seller at our last auction in Palm Beach. The ones featured in our inaugural Northeast docket will surely bring a lot of attention from the bidders in the arena.”
The inaugural Northeast Auction at Mohegan Sun will be broadcast live on Velocity and the Discovery Channel. For complete information please visit www.Barrett-Jackson.com.
