A 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback (above, David Newhardt photo courtesy Mecum Auctions) was the top seller at last weekend’s Mecum Auction in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The Grabber Blue machine hammered for a hefty $220,000 as Ford and Chevrolet products dominated the top 10 sales with a 1967 Corvette pulling the second-highest selling price at $160,000. Overall the auction registered $16.7 million in total sales from a 70-percent sell-through rate.
