Gene Haas has won the right to run a team in Formula One in 2015. The guy has pedigree and I wish him every success, it is high time that an American team competed at the top level. The fact remains, however, that you look for new teams at the back of the grid or in history books.
Time was when you needed a basic workshop, regular tools and one designer. When was the last time a welding kit was seen in an F1 pitlane? Not in the last 30 years.
