Historic Paramount Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains above Los Angeles will host its first ever National Park Service-sponsored Car Corral and Picnic, open to the public free of charge this Saturday October 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cars will be on display throughout the Western Town and around the historic racetrack. Anyone wishing to display a car should contact Ranger Ryan at (805) 418-3176. All years, makes and models are welcome.
There will be Western Town tours, displays in the Pavilion, a film presentation, a local history walk, and a Devil’s Hairpin talk. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch as no food service is available on site, though fast food is available a couple miles down the road.
Anyway to get a heads upon on this for next year?
Actually, we only just learned of the event this week ourselves! It’s unclear if this will be a regular annual event or not.
