The newly released documentary film chronicling Bruce McLaren’s life, McLaren, will have its Los Angeles premiere on Saturday, June 24, when the Petersen Automotive Museum screens the film at 7 p.m.
The documentary recounts the New Zealander’s life from his humble beginnings at his father’s auto shop in Auckland, to revolutionizing Formula One racing by becoming the youngest driver ever to win a Grand Prix, to his death at 32 in a testing accident. Featuring interviews with McLaren’s closest friends and family members, the documentary is an unprecedented window into the life of a true genius.
