This year’s HMSA Baxter Auto Parts Portland Historic Races, to be run July 7–9 at Portland International Raceway, will pay tribute to America’s first sports car, the Corvette, as well as Britain’s Allard.
Legendary Corvette driver Dick Guldstrand will serve as the event’s Grand Marshal on a race weekend that will include such features as a 50-year tribute to the Allard, a Vmoto vintage motorcycle race, a food and wine pavilion, a 700-car hot rod and classic car display, an autocross, a kids’ zone and a vendor midway.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will go to the Portland-based Children’s Cancer Association.
