The 1970 endurance racing season will forever be remembered for the famed battle between the Ferrari 512s and the Porsche 917s. And nowhere was the battle closer and more hard fought than at that year’s 12 Hours of Sebring, where Mario Andretti, driving a Ferrari 512, hunted down the Porsche 908 of Peter Revson and Steve McQueen in the final laps to snatch victory for Maranello.
