Mecum Auctions returned to Dallas on November’s first weekend and, over the span of just four days, sent some 756 cars home with new owners. Total sales for the event reached $24.6 million from a 73-percent sell-through rate.
The auction kicked off on the Wednesday when a large group of vehicles from the collection of Ron MacWhorter enjoyed a near-100-percent sell-through rate, with more than $2.4 million worth of collector cars changing hands in a matter of hours.
