Beaulieu’s flagship Simply event Simply Ford will return on Sunday May 3rd to celebrate all things Ford with a super-size display in the grounds of the National Motor Museum.
Simply Ford is Beaulieu’s biggest event in its expanding Simply range, which has added three new rallies with Simply Electric, Simply BMW and Simply British Classics to its packed 2020 line-up.
As many as 1,400 Fords of all ages and models are anticipated to take part in the show, as enthusiasts gather to park up, compare cars and enjoy the whole of the Beaulieu attraction.
With club displays at the heart of Simply Ford, as many as 24 car clubs have already booked, with more anticipated to follow. There will also be club stands by Kent Modified Fords, Mondeo Mania UK, Surrey Mustang Owners Club and Wiltshire Classic Ford Club.
Throughout the day, event-goers can vote for their favourite Ford of the show in the People’s Choice Award, with the winner receiving a Beaulieu trophy.
Show-goers can also see the National Motor Museum’s own 1981 Ford Escort RS1800, the rally car that was successfully campaigned by rallying ace Ari Vatanen and driven to second place in the 1981 RAC Rally. There are even more historic Fords in the museum collection, ranging from the 1914 Model T to the 1986 Sierra RS Cosworth. For more details see the Ford page on the Beaulieu website at www.beaulieu.co.uk/ford.
