A Bugatti feast is to be savoured on the roads of the Targa Florio, Sicily, where Ettore’s famous cars won an incredible five years in succession from 1925–’29. The Bugatti Club of Italy is organizing a coming together of the 60 cars that best represent the whole range of Molsheim production, from the Tipo 13 8-valve and Brescia to the famous supercharged T35 and T59 Grand Prix car. Bugatti owners from all over Europe, the United States, Japan and Australia are expected to take part in the meet, the theme of which the club describes as “the art of traveling and good living, coupled with the kind of history, culture and hospitality that can only be found in Italy.” The entourage will visit Sicilian locations of historical interest that are off the tourists’ well-beaten track—Norman castles and great manor houses, some of which will be opened exclusively for the event’s participants. The Bugatti Club of Italy can be contacted by telephone and fax at 0039 02 86998000 or by e-mail at info@bugatticlubitalia.it.
