The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association has announced its event schedule for 2016, the 16-weekend slate once again featuring the Brickyard Invitational at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the U.S. Vintage National Championships at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
The Brickyard Invitational will occupy the Fathers Day weekend at Indianapolis, where the popular Indy Legends Charity Pro-Am will once again feature prominently. The National Championship races at COTA — the 2015 edition of which looms ahead on the weekend of November 4-8 — will again bring together competitors from all over the country in one place to determine SVRA’s National Champions. One event, accompanying the Amelia Island Concours, remains tentative awaiting FAA approval for plans to use a local airport as the circuit. The full schedule is as follows.
