Vintage car racing promoter Sports-Car Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) announced its sale to Parella Racing, LLC. SVRA said the sale will become final after the U.S. Vintage Grand Prix in September 2012.
Founded in 1978 SVRA is in the business of hosting, promoting, organizing and running vintage/historic racing events. Most recently SVRA has held annual events at Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen and Sebring International.

“SVRA has entered into a definitive sales agreement and has been sold to Parella Racing LLC. We expect the assets to be transferred in September, 2012 following our scheduled race at Watkins Glen,” said Peter McLaughlin, President of SVRA.
“I’m very pleased to see SVRA in such good hands. Parella Racing LLC, (Tony Parella) brings a passion for Vintage racing, proven professional management skills and the financial resources to grow SVRA,” McLaughlin also said.
