The Second Annual “Race at the Base” will be held May 5-7 at the Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and will be sanctioned this year by the Virginia Beach Racing Association and co-sponsored by the United States Navy and the City of Virginia Beach.
According to race director Robert Williams, “Vintage racecar drivers will have the opportunity to recreate the beginning of traditional sports car racing in the United States by participating in three days of racing at this military naval airport course. This is a unique event with an entry limit imposed by VBRA to maintain a quality racing experience.”
