VW cars, campers and commercials will be the motoring stars of Beaulieu’s Simply VW on Saturday June 19th, as Vee Dub owners and fans enjoy a great Saturday out at Britain’s National Motor Museum.
A calendar highlight following the easing of current restrictions, the much-loved rally will bring together all manner of ultra-cool VWs as it returns for 2021. The third of Beaulieu’s 15 Covid-secure Simply rallies planned to take place this year, every age and model of VW is welcome to take part in Simply VW.
The 2020 event saw an impressive selection of VWs take their places in the parkland of the National Motor Museum, from Golfs, Passats and Polos, to classic and modern Beetles. Always hugely popular with enthusiasts and show-goers, Transporters and Campers turned up in force, from classic split-screen and bay window T2s, all the way through to modern day T5s and T6s. Simply VW 2021 is sure to be just as colorful and diverse a line-up.
With Beaulieu’s beautiful grounds and gardens open to visitors once again, followed by the planned reopening of the attraction’s indoor spaces on May 17th , there is plenty for event-goers to explore for a packed New Forest day out.
Make sure to head inside the National Motor Museum to see more Volkswagens spanning the history of the much-loved German marque, from the classic 1953 Volkswagen Beetle, through the iconic 1981 Volkswagen Golf GTi to the futuristic 2015 Volkswagen XL1 hybrid.
