The Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation‘ is holding the “Win-A-Shelby” Raffle, the Foundation’s largest fundraising project to date. One lucky ticket holder will win a new aluminum-bodied Shelby/AC Cobra CSX 1000, currently owned by legendary automaker and racer Carroll Shelby. The first official Shelby/AC Cobra to be produced in more than 40 years, this Cobra is outfitted in F1 Red with signature white LeMans stripes and comes fully equipped with one of the legendary 427 FE Shelby engines. The raffle will run through January 26, 2006 with proceeds benefiting the Foundation.
“This is a rare opportunity to become the proud owner of a Shelby Cobra owned by the legend himself,” says Jenni Shreeves, Executive Director of the Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation. “Mr. Shelby is excited about donating a car as important as this Cobra for a cause he cares about so deeply. The Cobra raffle is a wonderful opportunity for the Foundation to raise a significant amount of money to continue to provide assistance to children and their families in need.”
Tickets can be obtained through the Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation for a charitable donation of $25.00 for a single ticket, or $100.00 for five tickets.
