Monterey Car Week is the mecca for car fans. It is a packed, full week in August of automotive heaven held in and around Monterey, California. The highlight for serious collectors is the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the pinnacle event in the classic car world. The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is a four-day event that has over 500 participants driving historic race cars. The Jet Center Party is all about exotic cars and private jets, while the Legends of the Autobahn is all about German cars. The Auctions happen throughout the event, and usually include auction houses such as Bonhams, RM Auctions, Russo and Steele, Gooding & Company, Mecum Auctions, Broad Arrow Group, and historically popular names such as Rick Cole Auctions.
